Our Faith Statement: "What we believe."

We Believe in...

1. The Trinity of God, composed of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, the same in essence, equal in poster and glory. (John 4:24; John 15:26; II Cor. 13:14; Matt. 6-9; John 8:36; John 14:26; I John 5:7.)

2. The infallible, inerrant Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments were given by inspiration of God and are the only rule of faith and practice. ( II Tim. 3:16-17; II Pet. 1:21; Prov. 30:5-6.)

3. The Bible Account of Creation. (Gen. 1:1; Heb. 11:3; John 1:1-3; Col. 1:16,17.)

4. The Personality of Satan. ( I Peter 5:8-9; Eph. 6:12; Isa. 14:12-15; Ezek. 28:12-15; II Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 20:1-3, 10.)

5. The Fall of Adam from his original rectitude and in him all the posterity in consequence of which we inherit a fallen and depraved nature, and of man's inability to restore himself into the favor of God. (Gen. 1:27, 2:17, Gen. 3; Rom. 5:12,19; Rom. 3:23; Rom. 3:11; Jer. 13:2; John 1:13.)

6. The Virgin birth and deity of Christ. ( Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:23; Luke 1:31-35; Matt. 16:16-17; John 10:30; John 1:1-3.)

7. Christ's Atonement for Fallen Man. ( Isa. 53:1-10; Rom. 5-6; Rom. 5:10,11;II Cor. 5:21.)

8. Christ's bodily resurrection and ascension back to His Father. ( Mark 16:6; Matt. 28:7; Luke 24:1-3; I Cor. 15:12-20; Acts 1:1-11; Acts 7:55-60; Rev. 1:18; 1 Thes. 4:16.)

9. The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit.( John 16:7-14; John 15:26; Eph. 1:13; Rom 8:9-16.)

10. Justification before God by faith without any mixture of works. All such justified persons are in the body of Christ. ( Rom 3:20; Rom 3:28; Eph 2:8-9; Gal. 3; Heb. 11:1-6.)

11. Good works are the fruits of faith, and follow after justification, and are the evidence of a gracious state, and all believers are bound to obey every command of God from the principle of love. (Eph. 2:10; Titus 2-.11-13; Tit. 3:7-8; James 2:17; John 8:31; John 14:15; John 14:23.)

12. Separation of God's children from the world. ( II Cor. 6:14-18; Rom. 12:1-2.)

13. Water Baptism to be administered to believers only.( Eph. 4:5; Acts 8: 35-39; Rom. 6:4-5; Acts 2:38; Matt. 28:19-20.)

14. The Lord's Supper as a church ordinance whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming. (Matt. 26:26-30; Mark 14:22-25; Luke 22:19-20; I Cor. 11:17-29.)

15. A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a local body of baptized believers who are associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel, observing the two ordinances of Christ, committed to His teachings, exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word, and seeking to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth. This church is an autonomous body, operating through democratic processes under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. In such a congregation members are equally responsible. Its Scriptural officers are pastors and deacons. (Matt. 16:15-19; 18:15-20; Acts 2: 41-42,47; 5:11-14; Rom. 1:7; I Cor. 1:2; 3:16; 5:4-5; I Tim 3:1-15; 4:14; I Peter 5:1-4.)

16. World Wide Missions according to the Great Commission which Christ gave his church. (Matt. 28:19,20; Mark 15:14-15; Matt. 9:37-38; Acts 1:8-9; John 20:21; Rom 1:14-16; 10: 12-15.)

17. The personal, bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ to receive His Saints in the air. ( Acts 18:11: I Thes. 4:16,17; 2 Thes. 2:1; Rev. 1:7; John 14:1-3.)

18. The bodily resurrection of the dead and that one thousand years separate the resurrection of the saved and the resurrection of the lost. ( John 5:25-29; John 11:24-26; I Thes 4:13-17; Acts 24:15; I Cor. 15; Rev. 20:1-6; Rev. 20: 11-15.)

19. The reality of hell, involving eternal punishment of the finally unrepentant people. ( Mark 9:43-48; Luke 6:19-31; Rev. 14:11; Rev. 19-20; Rev. 20:12-15; II Thes. 1:7-9; Matt. 25:41; Luke 12:4-5; II Peter 3:7.)

20. Eternal security of the believer.( John 10:28-29; Rom. 8: 30-39; I John 5:18; Eph. 4:30; I Peter 1:5; Luke 10:42; John 17-.12.)

Our Values Statement: "What we practice."

"We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love, to strive for the advancement of this church, in knowledge, holiness and comfort, to promote its prosperity and spirituality, to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines. To contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the Gospel through all nations.

We also engage to maintain family and secret devotion, to religiously educate our children, to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances. To be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements, exemplary in our deportment, to avoid all tattling, backbiting, and excessive anger, to abstain from the sale and use of intoxicating drinks as a beverage, to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior.

We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love, to remember each other in prayer, to aid each other in sickness and distress, to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech. To be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation, as taught by our Savior."
