::Mission Work In Mexico::

Liberty Baptist Church was involved in a mission project early in the year of 2006. The work was done in Matamoras, Mexico, a city of 800,000. The team worked on building projects for churches and families in Matamoris.

The majority of the work done in Mexico was roofing houses and churches, sheet rocking houses and churches, and laying blocks for foundations and walls for other building projects.

The team participated in several worship services in Matamoras and the surrounding areas. Liberty Baptist Church's Student Pastor, Shane McIllwain, preached his first sermon in one of the services. "It was tremendous. The singing was wonderful, the worship service was a unbelievable blessing." - Shane McIllwain

The team also worked in each community handing out tracks and ministering to peoples needs. They had a wonderful time ministering and working for Jesus Christ in Mexico.
