::Mission Work In The Ukraine::
Two of Liberty Baptist Church's students served in the Ukraine in the summer of 2005. Jill Young and Somer Cheeks spent time serving in the Ukraine working with children in parks and Bible camps.
The places where they worked were camps that had already been established by missionaries that serve in the Ukraine. They work new Bible camps each day of the week. The camp events included Bible stories, songs, games crafts as well as teach the children some english.
The city of Odessa is where much of the work was done. It is located in the southern part of Ukraine. The city of Odessa has 1.3 million people living there. There is a great need for the gospel taken to the people of Odeassa.
The churches that Jill and Somer worked with were Grace Baptist Church and Trinity Church. Jill also worked with an orphanage at Grace Baptist Church. They also started a park ministry and did much prayer walking in the city. Pray for the people of the Ukraine that God will send more individuals to take the Gospel of Christ to them.
